Lo Mein (Chicken/Vegetables) (Family)

Health is the motto. But never disregard a worthy destination as well. Combine the chicken, white sugar, vinegar, and soy sauce. Mix and coat the chicken. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator. Separately, put together the chicken broth, water, sesame oil, and ground black pepper with the sugar, vinegar, and soy sauce. Individually, dissolve the cornstarch with some of this mixture and slowly add to the bulk of the mixture while stirring well. Cook the linguine and drain. Heat the vegetable oil until it smokes up. Add the chicken and stir-fry until brown. Then heat the remaining vegetable oil. Add the ginger, garlic, mushrooms, and green onions, and stir-fry. Add the sauce mixture and then the chicken. Simmer until the sauce begins to thicken. Add the remaining noodles and toss gently, coating everything well with the sauce. Serve.
