This pervasive Bangladeshi item dominates the South Asian landscape for its ease of making and wonderful taste all along. Mixed flour and whole wheat flour in a bowl. Sprinkled salt on top. Added butter, sugar, garlic powder, and dried herbs. Gradually poured in water until a soft dough is formed. Knead dough until smooth and elastic. Shaped into smooth balls, lightly flattened. Rolled into thin circles. Heated oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Dough balls fried until golden.
